Another exam...

Studying for software engineering now.Not doing great at all.It takes so long to read through the book because the content is just soooo boring!!Plus it's 100% exam so I hadnt even opened the book until the Christmas Holidays...
Had a good Christmas though.Food, drink, presents, parties, birthdays... what more can you ask for??...not to have to study in between!?
Cant wait to get this exam over with though, if I fail it I fail it like, im gona b stuck here for the summer doing work experience anyway, n I doubt itll b a scorcher!!
Three weeks off after this exam will be pretty sweet though and im heading to New York shopping aswell on the 19th of Jan aswell which im really looking forward to.

Sick of studying...

Yup, its official, im absolutely sick of studying, weve just been doing so much since the start of this semester, im pretty sick shit of it at this stage. And to top it off, even after I do my exam on Tuesday, my Christmas is still gona b wrecked by our Software Engineering exam on the 5th of Jan... so once I get the exam done, I just have to start studying again...
Its kind of hard to believe that this is the last were doing in these modules though. Im sort of looking at these exams as if theyre just Christmas tests like...

So im still working on that essay. Finding it kinda hard coz alot of the stuff on the internet is pretty confusing. And I should really b finished it by now coz I was meant to have started studying for my databases exam by now. Thought I would have started yesterday but...

Even though Im not sure exactly how enjoyable this Christmas is gona b with all the studying I'll need to do for Software Engineering for our exam in January. Im also gona b working quite a bit aswell, which is gona b crap coz of all the sales n stuff. It takes so long to clean up after a day of sales in the shop...n you cant really go home til its done...great stuff!

Nearly there now...

Last week wasnt great.Handed in the website wednesday.Wasnt really happy with it coz I think we cudve done more with it if we had the time,and if people had gotten everything finished in time.Its just annoying that Olga and I put so much time into it and in the end cudnt get it finished just because of the content.But I think in general the layout n the colour scheme n stuff looks good,so hopefully Colin will see that we had the right ideas and it was just the content that held us back.
So,I had alot of late nights with assignment deadlines,and by thursday i was absolutely wrecked.Wasnt gona go out,but my boyfriend and I had tickets to see Phil Jupitus and 4 others in the comedy club doing a "Whose line is it anyway" improv take-off.Im glad I went in because it was brilliant.Even met him afterwards,but I was so nervous I didnt really have much to say.He seemed really nice though.Went out Saturday night aswell because I had a staff party.Went into Cafe Mexicana,then to the Long Island for a cocktail (even though people had taken the table we'd reserved,and it took us like half an hour to get a drink!),then for some reason went to Bob Fox's and the Chambers,coz its a late bar I presume!?So now im struggling to do my gui assignment for 2moro.A program and a 5page essay...no problem,right!?

work,work,work...

So much stuff to do for college its ridiculous.Doing the website at the moment,have 120 pages to change: the paths, tabs, images, correct spelling etc, document title, google analytics, google adsense, maybe a searchbox... and we havnt even got all the pages ready for this yet. Havnt even started putting in the portuguese translations yet. Really annoyed that everyone isnt working at the same pace, if they were we'd b finished by now. So anyway I got the site name, signed up for analytics and adsense and waiting for them to respond.Just really wana get this over and done with coz im sick of worrying about it; and worrying about how much time im NOT spending on my other college work. I definately think that the website should have been worth more marks, maybe 50/60%, i dont see why not like...ive put alot into this site n it might not have been worth any of it!!
Also I have 2 huge assignments for next week, that I havnt really had much time to concentrate on.So its gona b a long wknd.Might have to pull a sicky from work on saturday.
Ive come to realise that I really dont enjoy college anymore.Its just stressful,taking up way too much time,and its probably not gona pay off at the end of the year even!Kinda wish i was doing a 3yr course now not 4!!....The moral of the story is: College sucks...

Web publishing exam

Had our web publishing exam today, not sure how it went. Kind of afraid of the fact that the first question was worth 60/100 and it was made up of 2/3 lines of ftp code. Dont think anyone was prepared for this as we had never actually uploaded at site to a server before. There was also no structure given so it was hard to see where things were going. It was all really vague to be honest and I think the majority of the class is pretty pissed off.

theres just not enough time...!!

Getting extremely frustrated at the moment. The amount of work we have to do is absolutely ridiculous. Only 3 weeks left and in that time I have 3 huge assignments, 3 exams, and 2 end of semester exams...oh and a website...(in three languages)...all I have to do now is buy a little old french lady, and ask her to translate everything for me...I just hope her grammer is good!!
